Meteor Family

Cameron is a butch gladiator who has been forced to assume an unfeeling, macho persona and fight for her life to entertain the interplanetary crowds. Azar is a genderless reptile alien who has a genetic disease that causes crystalline lesions to grow in their lungs. When Cameron escapes the arena, she ends up on the same mercenary crew as Azar, and they fall in love. Meteor Family is a series of poetic vignettes describing their relationship, their adventures, and their queer chosen family.
